The goal of case management is to increase the perpetrator’s motivation to change and to develop strategies and skills to stop their use of violence, to keep the perpetrator in view and increase their accountability for their behaviour. This service model of tailored, individualised support assists perpetrators to:

  • Take responsibility for their violence by demonstrating engagement with MBCP and/or other support services through the change process; and
  • Draw connections between engaging with support services and achieving long-term change to their violent behaviour.

The Case Manager works within a team environment that includes Men’s Behaviour Change Program, Family Safety Support Services and The Orange Door perpetrator intake and referral services.
