Our client is a prestigious medical College accredited by the Australian Medical Council for the training and continuing development of medical practitioners.
The College is the peak national professional body for supporting and training specialist dermatologists in Australia. It is a leading educational and scientific authority on skin disease in Australia and is a source of expertise and advice to the Federal and State Governments on health, workforce issues and medical issues generally. Its educational functions encompass post-graduate training and Continuing Professional Development for dermatologists, as well as training for general practitioners, nurses, and medical students.
In this part time (0.6 FTE) position, initially a six month contract, you will work as part of the dedicated Education Services team to provide responsive, supportive, and coordinated support and education to supervisors of the College’s Training Program. You will be the first point of contract for supervisors to communicate with on their own wellbeing matters and will be responsible for developing engagement strategies to maximise this communication and outreach. You will manage stakeholder relationships, as well as developing and delivering educational resources and training as needed. You will also maintain appropriate compliance, records, and policies.
You present with a minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in a similar role, and postgraduate / tertiary qualification in welfare, education or other suitable area. You have a demonstrated career history of developing programs and processes which ensure service excellence, and you are known as a strong leader with solid management experience. This is a part time position, 0.6 FTE, and the College supports flexible working arrangements.
