About Us

Lifeline Direct (LLD) is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lifeline Australia, delivering the suite of Lifeline's services across six geographical regions in both NSW and Victoria.

LLD works as a collaborative of local Lifeline Centres sharing administrative and other support services, which not only delivers efficiency in administration, but enables the Centres to work together in areas that were not previously possible. This, all while maintaining a sense of ‘localness’ to operate and serve local communities.

LLD encompasses the Hunter region, Central Coast, New England, Northern NSW, Geelong and South West Victoria.

About the position

Located at our Geelong office you will manage the business development and community engagement team in the Geelong and Southwest Victoria region and be responsible for developing sustainable revenue sources for LLD. You will also work with the Lifeline Australia (LLA) fundraising and marketing teams to develop approaches that raise awareness of Lifeline’s work in local communities.

You will establish, monitor and implement a fundraising and revenue strategic plan for the Geelong and SWV region. Externally, you will positively promote LLD’s profile and credibility as a provider of quality services in the region.

About you

You are a people-oriented person who has proven success in managing and leading a team of individuals who strive to make a difference in community. Your business development and networking skills will be a strength, along with your ability to develop strategic approaches as well as hands on delivery of programs.

What the position requires

  • Tertiary Qualification in Business Administration, Communication, Sales, or Marketing
  • Relevant and demonstrated experiences in fundraising in either NFP or commercial setting
  • Ability to develop strategic approaches as well as hands on delivery of programs
  • Experience in leading a team
  • Demonstrated experience and examples of communication strategies or programs
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with high quality written and oral communication aptitude
