Lifestart is an Early Childhood Partner, delivering the National Disability Insurance Agency’s Early Childhood Early Intervention (ECEI) approach across the greater Sydney region and including Nepean Blue Mountains, Illawarra Shoalhaven and Central Coast.

About the Role

Our ECEI team work collaboratively to provide supports and strategies to children aged 0-6 years with disability, delay or additional needs and their families/carers. Focusing on helping children develop the skills they needs to take part in daily activities to reach their potential.

As an ECEI Program Support Worker you will be part of a team that supports our allied health and education professionals. Key elements of this role include supporting the day-to-day functions of ECEI activities and processes, including but not limited to:

  • Undertaking initial phone calls with families, engaging with families from a variety of backgrounds and managing sensitive information
  • Providing useful information and referring families to other services/ resources, where required
  • Conducting client risk assessments
  • Collection of client reports/ plan review documentation
  • Uploading client information to CRM systems.

In this role you may deliver individual and group-based programs, such as play groups, and assist with developing and building capacity of local mainstream and community services. It will be important to have well developed interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to liaise with families and other various stakeholders.

Requirements of the role

  • Tertiary qualification in early childhood, community services or other relevant study/ experience
  • Demonstrated working experience in Early Childhood Intervention
  • Understanding of the NDIS, in particular the ECEI approach
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a highly professional team
  • Ability to work within the role and maintain professional boundaries
  • Ability to prioritise and resolve problems
  • Strong scheduling, organisational and administrative skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in IT, specifically Microsoft Office and experience navigating CRM’s
  • Background and Working with Children Clearance (or willingness to obtain)
  • Hold a current Drivers Licence and access to a registered vehicle to perform the role

Location

Lifestart provides the ECEI approach across a wide service area including throughout Sydney, Nepean Blue Mountains, the Central Coast and Illawarra Shoalhaven regions.

It is expected that you can work flexibly across these regions including Work From Home, at one of our offices and within client home, early childhood, school and community environments.
