We are seeking passionate, energetic and caring support workers who enjoy what they do - improving the lives of their customers. Across the Central West region we are fortunate to assist a diverse range of people within our Individual Support programs. We are seeking Support Workers who enjoy helping people & who believe they are a perfect fit for our core values.

Own It - How we get the job done

Lifestyle Solutions help our customers to live as independently as possible through our individual support programs. We are looking for Support Workers who can provide positive encouragement, help to build and develop relationships within the community, encourage life skills and inspire confidence in those around you.

As a support worker in this team you will:

  • Provide mentoring and skill development, assisting customers to explore their interests
  • Assist with coaching independent life skills and social skills
  • Helping our clients to engage with their local communities and culture through access to Community Participation Programs and recreational activities
  • Assist customers to meet their individual support plans
  • Assist customers with personal care if required; showering, toileting, feeding and grooming

Make It Matter - What you will bring to make a difference in other's lives

  • Be willing to be available to work a variable roster which includes mornings, afternoons and weekends
  • Previous experience supporting people with intellectual disability or physical disability
  • Experience of supporting people with medication needs will be advantageous
  • Experience working with people who have a range of behavioral concerns and needs
  • Versatile communication skills; the ability to communicate and interact with both verbal and non-verbal customers
  • Current drivers licence and own vehicle
  • Current Provide First Aid certificate (HLTAID003)
  • Formal qualifications in Disability, Community Services or Welfare will be advantageous
  • Knowledge of the Disability Inclusion Act 2014
  • Strong computer skills and written skills to communicate with the team and accurately record shift notes
