About the Role

This is a fast paced, dynamic role within a growing and transforming organisation within our Shared Services Team.  You will be responsible for processing supplier invoices and other forms of expense payments, accurately and efficiently, ensuring the timely payment of creditors and other suppliers.

This is a 12 month maximum term contract, location flexible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Payments to suppliers in accordance with terms of trade
  • Payments for carers
  • Direct debits and returns on the bank statement
  • Petty cash transactions, utilities and client payments
  • EFT and cheque payments in accordance with established payment terms and cycles
  • Perform reconciliation of accounts on a monthly basis
  • Review transactions to ensure correct calculation, coding and processing
  • Complete month end reporting
  • Assist with database maintenance and filing

Skills & Experience

  • Demonstrated experience in an Accounts Payable position in a large organisation 
  • Experience with large ERP systems
  • Demonstrated experience in providing timely and accurate customer service and support in a high transactional environment
  • The ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including peers, employees, Managers, and external organisations
  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills to respond to customer enquiries and requests from stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to use Microsoft Office suite of programs, for example Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Demonstrated problem solving skills with a positive can-do attitude

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
