We are looking for a Community Rehabilitation Support Worker (CRSW) to join our Country Wellness Connect program providing support to clients accessing the service on Kangaroo Island preferably on Monday and Tuesdays (15.2 hours a week) until the end of June 2022.
The service is designed to provide ongoing support for clients who are ineligible to receive services under the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS). The Wellbeing program provides psychosocial support for clients with severe mental illness who may have an episodic rather than permanent psychosocial disability.
This role provides client-led, recovery‐oriented mental health support to clients with severe, episodic mental illness. You will establish and deliver group wellbeing programs, as well as individual support, emphasising individual recovery needs and integration with clinical services. The CRSW provides a range of rehabilitation and support to consumers, tailored to meet their individual needs.
Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
