We are looking for experienced Disability Support Workers to join our team in Hampton East in these rewarding ongoing Part -Time opportunities. You will be responsible for providing support with activities of daily living and developing, implementing and monitoring Individual Plan’s including personal care.
In these roles you will work to facilitate the delivery of quality services and achieve positive outcomes with and for the 5 clients within the house including supporting residents in living independently. This role involves working with clients with various complex medical needs (including mental health) and behaviours and will involve sleepovers.
The house services 5 clients with varying levels of complex behavioural needs. The house is close to local shops and amenities. Assistance and support are required with meal planning and preparation, domestic chores and community access. The residents enjoy a range of activities both within the house and in the community
In order to be compliant, successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including a National Criminal History Record Check and an International Criminal History Record Check, if you have resided for 12 months or more outside of Australia in the last 10 years. A Working with Children Check is also required (where relevant to the role) and a current Victorian Driver's Licence is essential.
