About the role

Working within our Disability Program's in Broken Hill, you will assist our clients to achieve their own personal goals. You may be required to support clients one-on-one in their homes, take them out into the community, support them in a Supported Independent Living setting, provide personal care and support our clients with complex medical needs. You will work shifts on a 24/7 roster with both active nights and sleep overs. There are morning, afternoon and evening shifts on a rotating roster. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day care (including personal care) and supervision
  • Meal preparation
  • Epilepsy support
  • Community Access & Transport
  • Maintain & Monitor Person Centred Plans
  • Documenting & Progress Note keeping

Skills & Experience

  • Unrestricted NSW Driver’s Licence
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Sound computer, written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to adhere to client support plans and complete documentation

Please note: Mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations may be required for this position, in accordance with relevant Public Health Orders across all States and Territories. In these circumstances, evidence of vaccination will be required prior to an offer of employment.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
