Casual work available for homes in Cranbourne, Cheltenham & Frankston, with the opportunity for work to be offered permanently part time. Provide day to day care for residents whilst we support you to build your career in Disability Support.

About the role

Provide day to day care for residents, including;

  • Personal care whist ensuring privacy and personal choices are upheld
  • Community access and transporting
  • Providing active support to residents based on their goals
  • Medication administration
  • Liaison with families
  • Medical and other allied health appointments
  • Documentation 
  • Teamwork

Skills & Experience

  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Current unrestricted Driver's licence
  • A commitment to supporting and promoting the individual needs, skills, abilities, and personal goals of people with disabilities
  • The ability to develop a positive relationship with service users and to support their Individual Personal Plan
  • Cert IV Disability highly regarded.

Mandatory COVID-19 vaccinations may be required for this position, in accordance with relevant Public Health Orders across all States and Territories. In these circumstances, evidence of vaccination will be required prior to an offer of employment.

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
