About the role

Working in our Lifestyle program in Yeppoon, you will support our clients with community access, community participation, mentoring and an element of personal care. These shifts operate Monday - Friday between 7am-6pm. We have a permanent part time line of up to 20 hours per fortnight.

Key Responsibilities

  • Day to day care (including personal care) and supervision
  • Community Access & Transport
  • Mentoring
  • Maintain & Monitor Person Centred Plans
  • Documenting & Progress Note keeping

Skills & Experience

  • Unrestricted Australian Drivers Licence
  • Reliable vehicle, with minimum third party insurance
  • Current Provide First Aid Certificate

To be considered for and appointed to a position at Life Without Barriers, you must be fully vaccinated against COVID-19 or hold a valid medical exemption certificate.  You will be required to provide evidence of your vaccination status during the recruitment process. 

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
