About the Role

Join our Supported Independent Living team in Forster on a Part Time or Casual basis, working alongside clients to assist them to live independently.

Due to the nature of our client’s needs, it is important you are available across a 24/7 roster. We are looking for people who take initiative with a can-do attitude, enjoy building positive relationships and have a true passion for making a difference in their community. 

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide person-centred support in line with client’s individual support plans
  • Participate in community activities and encourage clients to perform daily living tasks
  • Track and document an individual’s progress through thorough record keeping
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with our clients and their families

Skills & Experience 

  • You are reliable, flexible, caring and very passionate about supporting others
  • You may have professional or personal experience supporting people with disability
  • You may be starting your career within the Disability industry and have a strong customer service background
  • Current and unrestricted NSW Drivers Licence
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Sound computer, written and verbal communication skills 

Successful candidates will be required to clear all state-based probity checks; including a National Criminal History Record Check.
