About the role

This is a new role reporting to the Manager, ICT Portfolio Delivery.  You will work with internal stakeholders in leading, planning, and communicating change that will enable new systems and processes to be easily adopted and embedded in the organisation. This is a permanent full-time role, located in either Newcastle Melbourne or Sydney.

Key Responsibilities  

  • Lead and support the design, development, delivery and management of the ICT change portfolio
  • Apply change management processes and tools to create a strategy to support adoption of the changes required by a project or initiative within the ICT portfolio
  • Consult and coach project teams and work with project managers to integrate change management activities into project plan
  • Define and measure success metrics, conduct impact analyses and assess change readiness
  • Provide input, document requirements and support the design and delivery of ICT training programs
  • Work with the project teams to design, develop and deliver change initiatives
  • Engage with stakeholders in the business to embed changes in processes and systems in day to day operations
  • Work with project teams/streams to integrate change and communications management activities into the overall project plan 

Skills & Experience

  • Significant experience in large-scale organisational change management projects/programs or communication roles in business environments undergoing change programs
  • Experience and knowledge of change management principles and methodologies
  • Demonstrated experience in ascertaining stakeholder audience needs and developing relevant change management materials
  • Exposure to change management principles in an operational environment
  • Demonstrated experience in managing competing priorities and to deliver high quality outcomes within agreed timeframe
  • Ability to influence others and move toward a common project vision or goal
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including managers, peers, employees, external organisations, service providers
  • Working knowledge of graphic design, copy writing, video editing and the Microsoft Office suite of programs

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
