About the role

Reporting to the ICT Service Desk Team Leader you will ensure the stability, integrity and efficient operation of the information systems and infrastructure that supports core organisational functions. You will join a fast paced customer centric ICT Service Desk team who are supportive and value driven.

This is a permanent full time role, location flexible.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide operational support for all ICT equipment
  • Maintain the availability, security, integrity, performance and enhancements of the ICT technology environment
  • Ensure assets are documented and managed within the appropriate ITIL system
  • Ensure continuous improvement of ICT services, practices and processes in line with industry advances to ensure that the business remains competitive with best in class ICT services
  • Complete reporting as requested by management covering such things as incident trending, call abandonment rates, performance and availability
  • Participate in ICT Service Delivery Projects as directed
  • Actively share learning within the wider team
  • Contribute to, and maintain the organisational Knowledge Base
  • Perform other duties relating to the Service Desk as directed by the Service Desk Team Leader

Skills & Experience

  • Previous experience in a high performing 24/7 ICT Service Desk role is essential (min. 5 years)
  • Proven recent Windows Desktop and Server experience
  • Proven Technical understanding of Microsoft’s cloud platform
  • Proven Cybersecurity and Firewall experience
  • Good experience with various network technologies
  • Experience with Sophos and CISCO products a preference
  • Ability to effectively prioritise and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check and Working with Children Check (where relevant to the role).
