About the Role

Assist NDIS participants in the support coordination and implementation of supports across their funded plan to strengthen and enhance the client’s abilities and goals. This is a full time, 12-month maximum term contract with flexibility to work from home. Travel will be required across the Hunter region to successfully deliver the clients plan and meet their obligations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support our clients to implement their NDIS plan
  • Monitor plan outcomes and expenditure to ensure it remains within budget
  • Ensure mainstream services meet the clients NDIS plan
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients and external stakeholders
  • Report outcomes and success indicators to the NDIA within the agreed reporting timeframe
  • Strengthen and enhance the clients abilities to self-direct their own supports and participate in the community

Skills & Experience

  • A strong working knowledge of NDIS funding
  • Working knowledge of the National Disability Insurance Scheme objectives and principles
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with clients and their families
  • A passion to make enhance people with disabilities lives for the better
  • Experience working autonomously
