About the role

Permanent Part Time position supporting the Tasmanian Disability, Aged Care and Mental Health Client Services teams with all their learning & development requirements. Join a national L&D team which is committed to creating innovative solutions to business problems by growing the capability of our people.

We are looking for someone who has agility to move between a range of projects and is passionate about making a difference to our client’s lives through the professional development of our people. The role will be fast paced and include the full range of L&D activities and a partnership approach will be key to your success. This role is based from our Hobart office with flexibility to work from home.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and deliver interactive and engaging learning and development programs both face to face and using blended delivery methods
  • Develop and undertake assessment processes and tools that meet relevant LWB policy and/or regulatory requirements
  • Actively engage stakeholders to respond to state learning needs of employees within Disability, Aged Care and Mental Health services in Tasmania.
  • Contribute to the end-to-end management of L&D administration functions including scheduling of programs and L&D events, program evaluation and feedback, and data analysis and reporting
  • Actively work with the L&D Lead to evaluate and implement relevant L&D policies, practices and systems
  • Support state and national L&D projects as required

Skills & Experience

  • Strong experience as an L&D Advisor, including face to face delivery within a geographically dispersed organisation
  • Experience using a Learning Management System (LMS) for managing courseware and data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including strong written and presentation skills
  • Proactive in identifying learning gaps and requirements  
  • A partnership approach with a passion to empower and grow employees to perform at their best
  • Current Driver’s Licence

Successful candidates will be required to clear probity checks including National Criminal History Record Check.
