Living Proud is one of the oldest LGBTIQ+ services in the southern hemisphere, providing support to the WA community for nearly 50 years. Living Proud is a peer led not for profit organisation that is going through an exciting growth period.  

For more than two decades, Living Proud has provided highly effective training programs to build the capacity of corporate, government and non-government organisations to provide inclusive and safe workplaces and services for LGBTIQ+ people and communities.

The Senior Training and Consultancy Officer will coordinate the provision of Living Proud’s training and consultancy service and lead a review process to invigorate and expand offerings including the establishment of a Primary Health Care sector development program. 

This position would suit an experienced training and consultancy professional with a drive to make a difference for LGBTIQ+ communities throughout Western Australian.

Fixed term, 4 days per week for 12 months with possibility of extension.

We are looking for someone who:

  • Has qualifications and experience developing and managing high quality training and consultancy services.
  • Understands the issues faced by LGBTIQ+ people and communities. 
  • Can review and uplift our training and consultancy service to improve quality, reach and impact. 
  • Loves working with corporate, government and not-for-profit sectors to embed diversity and inclusion. 
  • Has excellent communication skills and can build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders. 
  • Has experience and enjoys leading and motivating small teams 
  • Can supply an appropriate Police and Working with Children Check.
