About the role

This role is responsible for the co-ordination of project/program management activities as well as leading projects as Project Manager. The role will also contribute to the development and ongoing delivery of a Portfolio Management Office function within LLW.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Lead medium level projects across all aspects of the project management lifecycle (for example, service establishment).
  • Co-ordinate logistics set-up of new services, including sourcing premises, procurement of furniture and associated amenities such as utilities, ICT and fit out.
  • Provide program coordination support to LLW project and program managers.
  • Establish and maintain a project management pack through the life of specific projects.
  • Support the establishment of a project portfolio system including development of project management methodology tools and templates, procedures and supporting tools.
  • Co-ordinate the effective operation of LLW project portfolio management system (‘Vision to Action’).
  • Prepare reports and other project documentation for both internal and external stakeholders.

About you

You are an engaging individual with the ability to connect with clients who are navigating mental health challenges and difficult life experiences.

You can work both autonomously and collaboratively within a team and utilise the appropriate techniques to support your clients. You will also demonstrate the following:

Essential:

  • A proven record in the establishment of new services
  • Well developed knowledge and experience in facilities management, tenancy and lease arrangements and contract management including commercial negotiation
  • Proven capability in the delivery of complex projects using project management methodology
  • Proven ability to work collaboratively and constructively with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Sound knowledge of continuous improvement and quality management principles
  • Sound knowledge of human resource and workplace health and safety compliance requirements
  • Innovative, proactive and solution focused

Other Requirements:

  • Drivers Licence
  • Willingness to undergo a National Criminal History Check
