The Lebanese Muslim association is one of the largest Muslim community organisations in Australia. We provide social, educational, recreational and welfare services to a broad demographic of communities.

About the role

We want to employ an experienced and enthusiastic Team Leader, Education Pathways Team who can manage the day-to-day support and supervision of the Education Pathways Team. The position involves working with a range of stakeholders including schools, and other educational institutions. This role requires a candidate with a knowledge, skills and experiences in delivering community programs in a school-based setting, mandatory reporting, child safety, and facilitation skills.

The applicants must demonstrate leadership skills, team management, project management, strong interpersonal skills and an ability to deal with conflict. We are looking for a Team Lead with an understanding of the education sector, and who can strengthen our relationships with educational institutions.

Most importantly, we want applicants who are passionate about community development with a strong desire to improve their expertise in serving culturally and linguistically diverse communities. The role requires a dedicated person who is willing to be challenged, adapt and take initiative.

On offer to the successful applicants is a 12-month part-time or full-time contract. A remuneration package commensurate to professional experience will be offered within a range of 65-75k excluding superannuation.
