We want to employ an experienced and enthusiastic Employment Support Officer who will work in the Employment Pathways Team. The position involves working with refugees and newly arrived migrants to assist them into meaningful employment. This role requires a candidate with knowledge, skills and experiences in the employment and recruitment industry.
The applicants must demonstrate excellent communication skills, stakeholder engagement and management, project management, strong interpersonal skills and an ability to provide sound employment advice to our clients. The role involves working both individually and in groups to assess, upskill and support young refugees and migrants into paid employment and where necessary liaising with other streams or registered training organisations to upskill clients.
Most importantly, we want applicants who are passionate about community development with a strong desire to improve their expertise in serving culturally and linguistically diverse communities. The role requires a dedicated person who is willing to be challenged, adapt and take initiative.
On offer to the successful applicants is a 12-month part-time or full-time contract. A remuneration package commensurate to professional experience will be offered.
