The Women Partners of Bisexual+ Men Service has been delivered by Leichhardt Women’s Community Health Centre since 2000 and has been funded by NSW Health since that time. The funding for the WPB+M Service is provided by the HIV and Related Services Program (HARP) Unit at
This program aims to build the capacity of health workers and develop stronger links and utilising the network of 22 women’s health non-government organisations, Sexual Health Clinics, Aboriginal Health Services and Community health in NSW.
The project will develop and conduct capacity building and health promotion activities within these existing services, and increase the capacity of health staff to better respond to the needs of Women Partners who have sex with men living in NSW; recognising women in population groups at highest risk of HIV
The Trainer is responsible for managing, designing, developing, coordinating and conducting resources and all on line and face to face training programs to health services in NSW. Training and capacity building programs aim to strengthen the health workforce across NSW to better respond to women partners of men who have sex with men (MSM) living in NSW.
