As a Community Engagement Manager , you will report to the Community Engagement State Manager and Chief Marketing Officer.

The purpose of the role is to help develop and drive our disability and aged support business strategy to ensure that Mable is the pre-eminent solution for consumers who want to decide when, where and what support services are provided to them.

As Community Engagement Manager you will use your exceptional networking and communication skills to promote Mable among consumers, families, workers, advocacy groups and industry, delivering our mission of enabling great support outcomes.

You will also be required to present at conferences, meetings and events to help deliver our vision and shape our narrative around person-centered outcomes and capacity building for individuals.

About the role

Mable Community Engagement Managers have the opportunity to work with a wide range of stakeholders in the community, using their experience and skills to identify and respond to opportunities for growth. As Community Engagement Manager you will use your exceptional networking and communication skills to promote Mable amongst people seeking support, families, workers, advocacy groups and industry, delivering our mission To bring people together to enable unique and inclusive lives filled with opportunity.

How you will make an impact

You will create impact in supporting the growth of a confident self directed community. You will share your insights and sector knowledge with the many teams in Mable to improve our user experience. You will present at conferences, meetings and events to help deliver our vision and shape our narrative around person-centred outcomes and capacity building for individuals.

Who you will be working with

You will work closely with your state Community Engagement team planning and executing strategies for your region and with the wider national team, sharing successes and learnings. As part of the Mable Marketing team you will also contribute to developing supporting material for our community activities.

Key responsibilities:

  • Work with the State Manager to develop and implement the strategic priorities for your market which will directly feed into the national Community Engagement Strategy and overarching business strategy for Mable.
  • Support the rapid scaling and expansion of your region to meet the consumer needs and demands of the NDIS rollout in your state.
  • Use your local regional and industry knowledge to develop successful strategies for engaging with consumers and existing industry players to grow the number of consumers and support workers using our platform.
  • Build effective external relationships with a range of organisations to help drive our B2B strategy.
  • Offer regular customer workshops and engagement
  • Remain abreast of relevant Government regulation and changes in your state in Disability and Aged care sector
  • Build relationships with key regulators and influencers in your state.
  • Ensure the day to day business conducted is compliant with current policies and procedures and in compliance with relevant legislative requirements across Aged and Disability sectors
  • Oversee and approve contract negotiations with the major partners and organisations in your state.

Requirements:

  • Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Sector experience across Disability, Aged or Healthcare.
  • Outstanding knowledge of the Disability and Aged sectors.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and interpersonal skills
  • Strong strategic skills
  • Proficient in G suite/MS Office and CRM systems including Salesforce
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Good decision making and problem-solving skills
  • Attention to detail, initiative and set high standards
  • Ability to think creatively to solve complex inquiries
