About the role

As the Policy Coordinator, you will be responsible for development, dissemination, monitoring and review of the policies, procedures, guidelines, registers also to identify gaps and risks in the development and maintenance of the MRC Policy and Delegations Register.

This position will be based in our Alice Springs Office, which supports councils' 13 remote communities and outstation locations.

Who are we looking for?

Our successful candidate will ideally hold degree level qualification in policy, business, law, governance and, experience in project management, organisational process management and delivering multiple projects to deadline. You will ideally hold strong problem solving skills in identifying, assessing and for potential risks in the application of legislation in Council policies and implementing solutions organisation wide.
