Reporting into the HR Manager – Employee Relations, your key responsibilities will include:
- Delivering quality HR Services, including policies and procedures, compliance, workforce planning, performance appraisals and recruitment;
- Providing timely and sound advice and guidance on people management issues across performance management, disciplinary processes and formal complaints and grievances;
- Providing training and coaching to line managers to enable them to successfully manage their teams;
- Being responsible for case management of matters, ensuring thorough investigations and within legislative requirements; and
- Providing accurate advice to clients on industrial matters, for example, rostering, breaks, overtime etc.
THE CANDIDATE:
Business acumen and the ability to manage a high case load will see you stand out in the crowd with this opportunity. You will also have:
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline;
- Minimum 3 years experience in a Human Resources Partnering role;
- Demonstrated experience in investigations, case management and award interpretation in a large-scale environment;
- Demonstrated organisational skills and the proven capacity to take on and deliver on multiple and varied projects;
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with others and exercise influence in a diversity of contexts; and
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
