THE OPPORTUNITY:

Based next to the trendy South Melbourne markets, no two days are the same in this busy role! We have a great team of Partners who work together to ensure we deliver on our strategic and corporate objectives.

Reporting into the HR Manager – Employee Relations, your key responsibilities will include:

  • Delivering quality HR Services, including policies and procedures, compliance, workforce planning, performance appraisals and recruitment;
  • Providing timely and sound advice and guidance on people management issues across performance management, disciplinary processes and formal complaints and grievances;
  • Providing training and coaching to line managers to enable them to successfully manage their teams;
  • Being responsible for case management of matters, ensuring thorough investigations and within legislative requirements; and
  • Providing accurate advice to clients on industrial matters, for example, rostering, breaks, overtime etc.

THE CANDIDATE:

Business acumen and the ability to manage a high case load will see you stand out in the crowd with this opportunity. You will also have:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in Human Resources or related discipline;
  • Minimum 3 years experience in a Human Resources Partnering role;
  • Demonstrated experience in investigations, case management and award interpretation in a large-scale environment;
  • Demonstrated organisational skills and the proven capacity to take on and deliver on multiple and varied projects;
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated capacity to work collaboratively with others and exercise influence in a diversity of contexts; and
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
