The Role on Offer

As the Mental Health Clinician reporting directly to the Portfolio Manager, Mental Health, you will:

  • Conduct psychosocial assessments including psychometric testing where appropriate
  • Deliver high quality evidence based therapeutic interventions
  • Deliver new mental health services that are adapted to meet the needs of a diverse client base
  • Contribute to the development, implementation, evaluation and reporting of continuous clinical quality improvement activities

About You

The successful applicant will have tertiary qualifications in a relevant clinical discipline (Psychology, Social Work, Occupational Therapy, Mental Health Nursing) and registration with AHPRA or eligibility for membership to relevant professional body and have:

  • Experience in the delivery of a range of evidence-based treatments relevant to working with people with a mental illness (particularly behavioural and CBT intervention).
  • Ability to use a clinical software package for electronic client records.
  • Experience in, and/or willingness to, use new and advancing technologies to deliver health services (such as Telehealth) and provide outreach services.
