Our client is an Australian Health Promotion Charity (HPC), established in 2003, to promote the Mission of an international organisation with deep roots and impact in the Israeli health system. The work of the HPC has a direct and meaningful impact on the delivery of healthcare and medical research (including world leading research collaborations between Australia and Israel). The HPC also has a commitment to community engagement through health which includes health as a bridge to better understanding between people in the region.

About the role

Reporting to the Development Director, the Communications & Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for working with key stakeholders to develop and implement our client's communications and digital marketing strategy to engage supporters and the public to achieve fundraising targets, build brand awareness and other key objectives.

It is a hands-on, diverse role where you will be responsible for creating content, implementing and maintaining digital marketing activities including social media, eDMs and newsletters, media releases, websites, search engine optimisation and online advertising, as well as offline communications according to capacity.

This is a permanent full-time position, with the opportunity to finish early on Fridays.

The ideal candidate will have:

  • At least 3 years’ experience writing and developing audience-specific content for communications and digital marketing.
  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Communications/Marketing/Media/Business or similar.
  • Proven ability to work strategically as well as ‘hands on’.
  • Experience in media production, including the production of email, website content, online video, social media content and graphics.
  • Extensive related experience developing and implementing digital marketing and communications campaigns and advertising to achieve targets.
  • Demonstrated ability to identify, collect and create content to support storytelling in digital channels including web, social media and email communications, and present these in a well-designed, engaging and creative manner.
  • Proven experience working on content management systems (CMS).
  • Ability to manage all aspects of electronic direct mailing, with Campaign Monitor / Mail Chimp or similar ESP (email service provider).
  • Demonstrated experience editing images and videos and creating digital media designs using the Adobe Creative suite.

As the HPC works across religions and beliefs, there is no requirement to be of any faith. The 'beacon of hope' in building relationships between different communities is the essence of the organisation.
