About the Human Resources Officer position

Are you interested in working in a dynamic and committed team supporting Marymead staff and services? Marymead is now searching for a dynamic Human Resources Officer to join the Systems and People Team. This position works with the Human Resources Team Leader and has a focus on recruitment administration, onboarding and induction of new employees, employee variations and contracts administration, maintenance of employee data and records, and supporting broader HR functions and projects within the team.

The successful applicant will have experience in HR Information Systems, will be systematic with excellent attention to detail, but be flexible and adaptable with the ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

This is a permanent part-time position for 25 to 30 hours per week. Located in our Narrabundah office you will have access to free parking and generous salary packaging arrangements.

To be successful for this position you will possess:

  • Relevant HR qualifications or equivalent experience in an HR context;
  • HR administration and record-keeping experience;
  • Sound oral and written communication skills
  • Strong computer literacy including an advanced understanding of MS Office and HR systems (Kronos preferred)
  • Experience in Workers Compensation or WHS is advantageous
  • ACT Working with Vulnerable People Card
