About the role

Your role will be to proactively and positively lead a team to research, develop and instigate a Support Coordination service. This will include the development of a service compliant with the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) policy framework and funding, identifying local services and providers that can be made available to NDIS customers and working with Maxima’s Marketing team to develop an approach to market.

What you’ll need to succeed

The ability to demonstrate a person-centred approach to NDIS customers and their supports, achieve Maxima’s goals and objectives within budget parameters and position Maxima as a national leader, being best in class. Most importantly, you will need to demonstrate Maxima’s NDIS mission, vision and culture through everyday actions and leadership!

In addition, you will need the following:

  • National Criminal History Record Check (Police Clearance), NDIS Worker Screening Check, and Working with Children Check
  • You must hold a current driver's license and be able to undertake intra and interstate travel on a regular basis.

Who are we looking for?

We are looking for an individual who has:

  • Considerable understanding of NDIS policy and funding framework
  • Qualifications in Business Management, Human Resources, Social Work or similar
  • Is passionate about human rights and has the ability to advocate on behalf of Participants
  • Diplomatic, empathetic and committed to providing person-centred care and an understanding of the experiences of people living with a disability
  • Highly organised with the ability to juggle multiple demands
  • Detail conscious with effective planning and prioritisation skills

This is a project role of fixed term duration. The successful incumbent may be offered the ongoing permanent role of General Manager Support Coordination.
