Since 1978, Muscular Dystrophy Queensland has been supporting clients and their families. Our innovative, specialist, multi-disciplinary allied health team provides NDIS and charitable services for the entire life span of our clients who live with neuromuscular conditions.

You will be working within an allied health team - another occupational therapist, physiotherapists, allied health assistants, and social workers. You will also be working alongside support coordinators and plan management staff

The person we employ will have a degree in occupational therapy from a recognised university and current registration with AHPRA. They will value client centred practice and work well within a growing, specialist allied health team.

What you’ll be doing

You will be doing a variety of clinical tasks which extend your knowledge and skills within our community, both in paediatric and adult practice. You will be working in an NDIS environment so there will be lots of report writing!

The allied health team works from our centre in Nundah and travels extensively within the s.e. Qld community. If you are interested in travelling, we may offer some short outreach trips.

This is a 12 month contract initially, but with the real possibility of becoming a permanent position.
