About the Opportunities

MDS is seeking to employ Support Workers for our various programs, including Day Program and Individual Support. These positions are responsible for supporting people with a disability with daily living skills, community inclusion and participation activities. These roles would be well suited to someone who is passionate about supporting and achieving positive outcomes for others.

Key Responsibilities for these positions include:

• Supporting people with a disability and their family/carers in achieving life learning, recreation, employment and educational goals and aspirations
• Engage with people with complex care needs, including lived experience of mental illness, to support achievement and encourage further independence
• Provide personal care, living skills, transport, other services and support.

The successful applicant will have:

• HLTAID003 Provide First Aid Qualification - current within 3 years
• HLTAID001 Provide Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation - current within 12 months
• NSW Driver's Licence (P1 or above)
• NDIS Worker Screening Check
• Covid – 19 Vaccination
• Access to a reliable vehicle
• A passion for supporting others

Roles available:

• Male Specific Behaviour Worker - Minimum of 2 years Behaviour support experience. 65 hours per fortnight Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3:00pm with additional hours as required
• Support worker – Campbelltown (Bradbury) 65 hours per fortnight with additional hours as required. Monday to Friday 8:30am to 3:00 pm
• Support worker – Leumeah 52 hours per fortnight Tuesday to Friday 8:30am to 3:00pm
• Support worker – Leumeah 39 hours per fortnight Tues, Wed and Friday 8:30 am to 3:00pm
• Support worker Camden 40 hours per fortnight Monday to Friday 10m to 2pm

These Positions are Permanent Part Time, covered under the SCHCADS Award.
