The Position

The Regional Workforce Coordinator is responsible for Melba Casual Workforce within a designated catchment. The role of the Regional Workforce Coordinator provides direct line management to the Melba Casual workforce and is charged with ensuring the ongoing availability and engagement of casual staff. This role, whilst working for the Workforce Hub within Business Operations acts as an extension of the Regional Outcomes team, and therefore is based and embedded at the Morwell office. Key responsibilities include:

  • In conjunction with Outcomes and HR, develop comprehensive Casual Workforce engagement strategy to dramatically increase staff retention and engagement
  • Effectively liaise and build relationships with the casual workforce to ensure they remain engaged with Melba, feel respected and valued, and are ready to assist with shift vacancies as required
  • In partnership with P&C drive recruitment campaigns as required
  • Provide timely, up to date reporting and analysis in relation to Casual Workforce as required
  • Provide direct performance feedback and management, all incident management and resolution relating to Casual Workforce.

Our Ideal Candidate:

  • Comprehensive understanding of staffing structures and workforce planning
  • Significant experience in a recruitment or agency setting, or within the disability sector
  • Demonstrated management and leadership capability, with the ability to work collaboratively with a range of departments and managers
  • Strong logistical and time management skills
  • Relationship & stakeholder management skills
  • Excellent organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
