The Administration Officer is a major part of the team and contributes to the cohesive and efficient running of the NWMH Mental Health – Forensic Interface Team (MH-FIT). The incumbent is responsible for providing overall administration support to the Program Manager, medical and clinical staff as required and as directed by the program manager.

Your new role

  • Provide overall administrative support to the Program Manager, medical and clinical staff, and administrative support to the SUMITT team during times of absence.
  • Ensure approved databases are accurate and required data is entered accurately and in a timely manner including but not limited to consumer registrations, admissions, leave, discharges, opening and closing Case/Episodes, entering clinical review and referral data, entering wellbeing scales and contact data.
  • Liaise with the Manager/s and middle management level positions to seek and provide information required for the maintenance of the site

About you

  • Past work experience in a health service
  • Experience using the statewide mental health, hospital and local information management systems efficiently and appropriately (CMI, iPM, Epic)
  • Attention to detail - Ability to ensure all legal documentation is complete, accurate and forwarded when necessary, collating and maintaining KPI and performance data
  • Relevant experience and ability to provide a broad range of administrative and intermediate level keyboard support functions including word processing and database entry
  • Demonstrated ability to manage concurrent tasks and meet deadlines
