Based on the Mornington Peninsula and with offices in the Casey and Cardinia area, Mentis Assist provides support for people with diagnosed and enduring mental illness.

The Coordinator of the Social Support Programs will supervise a small team of staff working across our State and Commonwealth HACC funded programs. This is a full time role based in our Mornington office.

No two days will be the same in this exciting, challenging and rewarding role. Our Social Support programs provide a variety of individual support options and group sessions to people with mental health issues. You will be supervising a small team who work across these programs to assist vulnerable clients with mental health conditions, in both group and individual settings.

To be successful in this role, you will need proven leadership experience and understanding of staff supervision processes. You must have a good understanding of Home and Community Care (HACC) programs, My Aged Care, and mental health. You will have experience working with individual clients in self-directed goal planning to improve their lives and their ability to live independently in the community. You will also have a demonstrated ability to plan, deliver, and evaluate group activities.
