Your new role

As a Health Promotion Officer you will be responsible for:

  • Planning, implementing and evaluating health promotion strategies in line with the organisational Integrated Health Promotion Strategy
  • Engaging with community organisations and groups to respond to unmet community needs
  • Contributing to Integrated Health Promotion planning and reporting
  • Maintaining and enhancing professional knowledge and technical skills by keeping up to date with new developments and relevant trends

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful with Merri you will go above and beyond to achieve great results for our clients, the organisation and yourself. We’re looking for individuals with:

  • A qualification in Health Promotion/Community Development/Public Health or a related field
  • Experience planning, implementing and evaluating health promotion/community development projects
  • The ability to liaise with a wide range of stakeholders and create/maintain effective partnerships
  • Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively
