Your new role

As a Team Leader-Service Operations you will be responsible for:

  • Day to running of the Home Care Package service.
  • Driving service operations and business growth.
  • Providing leadership and supporting change management and continuous improvement in line with ongoing aged care reforms.
  • Working with the Team Leader - Case Management to ensure a holistic approach to the provision of services and care to Merri's Home Care Package clients and stakeholders.

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful with Merri you will go above and beyond to achieve great results for our clients, the organisation and yourself. We’re looking for individuals with:

  • Tertiary qualifications related to Home Care and/or Business Administration/Finance and excellent Excel, financial software, database management and reporting skills.
  • High attention to detail, experience maintaining data integrity and trouble shooting discrepancies and issues.
  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal; influencing, negotiating and problem solving skills with the ability to form and maintain relationships with key stakeholders.
  • Good working knowledge of the Home Care Package Program, Aged Care Reforms, Aged Care Quality Framework and Home Care Standards.
  • A track record in the management of Home Care Package finances and experience supporting teams through change management processes.
