The Mental Health Professionals’ Network (MHPN) is a national program funded by the Federal Government to promote and support the development of interdisciplinary collaboration between clinicians in primary mental health care.

We do this through two core programs: the national networks program and the online professional development program.

The Communications Officer works collaboratively across teams to develop key communication items (email newsletters, website and social media content, news articles, and other marketing collateral) in support of MHPN's digital strategy for each program.

This role reports directly to the Communications Manager and works closely with MHPN’s Senior Project Officers and program leaders to ensure consistent development and timely delivery of all communications, digital content, and targeted + ongoing campaigns. Knowledge and/or skills in content development, copywriting, social media, and relevant software (listed in the Position Description) is required.

The position is a fixed-term contract to April 2022 with an extension dependent on MHPN’s future funding.
