The Keeping Families Together: A Supporting Housing Initiative aims to provide long-term, affordable and safe housing for vulnerable families in Brisbane, with the objective of diverting at-risk families from involvement with Queensland’s child protection system.
Micah Projects is seeking a full time Family Support and Advocacy Worker to work as part of the Keeping Families Together team to implement a coordinated approach to sustaining tenancy and family stability through building greater awareness and skills for families. The Keeping Families Together use an adaptation of the Parents as Teachers approach.
This is a permanent, full time position with a minimum of 38 hours of work available per week and is classified under the SCHADS Award as a Level 4.
