Skylight Mental Health (Skylight) is a community based, not-for-profit organisation. Skylight’s programs deliver a range of recovery-oriented community mental health services by working alongside people experiencing mental illness, family and friends who support them and the broader general South Australian community. Skylight is currently seeking a Manger – Service Delivery with proven experience in business process review, outcomes orientation, customer focus and financial acumen to join the team.

Role Overview

Operating under the broad direction of the General Manager Service Delivery, the Manager – Service Delivery has managerial responsibility of a suite of programs across various Skylight sites & service locations. You will lead the provision of high-quality services, build and grow independent business units with financial responsibility and lead continuous organisational improvements. You will lead teams within ever-changing environments, whilst also providing supervision and support to key leadership staff who deliver services across metropolitan and country regions.

Key leadership responsibilities of this role include:

  • Strategic leadership for a group of business units across South Australia. Creating and growing business unit viability and performance.
  • Working across projects responsible for developing policies, programs and strategic directions for Skylight;
  • Business model design and business process improvement
  • Collaborating closely with the Skylight Management Team to design activities & participate in project development;
  • Monitoring, recording and contributing to organisational improvements & the achievement of strategic directions;
  • Preparing updates & reports relating to program service delivery to present to the CEO, Board and Management Teams.

Requirements for Success

  • Substantial experience in leading and managing teams in a complex service delivery setting
  • Relevant qualifications and/or experience in both the Human Services and Business
  • Demonstrated ability to deliver service outcomes on time and in compliance with funding requirements
  • Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain effective relationships with key stakeholders
  • Financial acumen and the ability to manage within a prescribed budget
  • Proven commercial acumen with the ability to deliver on KPIs
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Knowledge of the NDIS environment is highly desirable
  • High degree if IT knowledge and systems competency
  • Experience in call centre management or similar highly desirable
  • Current DHS Working with Children clearance and NDIS Worker Check
