Skylight is looking to recruit a NDIS Information Officer. The role is based at Skylight metropolitan sites and classified at SACS Level 5.

Skylight Mental Health delivers a range of recovery-oriented community mental health services by working alongside people experiencing mental illness, family and friends who care for them, and the broader South Australian community.

About the Role

Under the general direction of the Manager – Service Delivery, the NDIS Information Officer will provide specialised management and compliance advice to the Leadership Team, by establishing and maintaining processes and procedures that ensures Skylight meets its regulatory, legal and operational NDIS quality, legislative, compliance and risk obligations. The NDIS Information Officer will also provide information and advice to support business growth targets.

About You

You will have:

  • Excellent capacity to research documents and interpret according to context
  • An understanding of the NDIS Quality and Safeguarding Framework and the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 is a must
  • Relevant tertiary qualification together with at least 3 years' workplace experience
  • Proven experience in quality systems development and internal and external audits
  • Ability to interpret legislation, guidelines, regulations and compliance requirements
  • Working both independently and as part of a team, able to manage own workload
  • Highly developed ability to be flexible and adaptive
  • Knowledge of project management practices would be highly desirable
  • To have or need to obtain DHS Working with Children Check and NDIS Worker Check
