Mind Australia is one of the country’s leading community-managed specialist mental health service providers with a range of residential, mobile outreach, centre based and online services. We have been supporting people living with the day-to-day impacts of mental illness, as well as their families, friends and carers for over 40 years.
We provide practical and motivational support that helps people to develop the skills they need to move on, thrive and improve the quality of their lives. It’s an approach to mental health and wellbeing that looks at the whole person in the context of their daily life. Mind is committed to diversity and social inclusion.
The Youth Prevention and Recovery Care service (YPARC) is a residential program providing services to youth aged between 16-25 years which utilises a recovery focused and clinical treatment framework. YPARC is designed as a ‘step up, step down’ program for people with mental illness who require individualised treatment and support entering either directly from the community or as a transition from acute inpatient care.
We are seeking resilient, self-motivated Community Mental Health Practitioners for casual opportunities to work on 24/7 rotating roster (day, night and weekend shifts available) in the Bendigo area. You will be integral in providing short-term intensive treatment and support to our young people, families and carers in line with Mind’s Model of Recovery Oriented Practice.
