Headspace in partnership with Mind aims to promote and facilitate improvements in the mental health, social wellbeing and economic participation of young people aged 12-25 years residing in the North Eastern suburbs. Services in this youth friendly space are delivered across four core streams, primary health care, mental health, alcohol and other drug (AOD) and social/vocational, to improve access for young people to mental health programs as well as ensuring better co-ordination between service providers.
We have an opportunity for a resilient, self-motivated Community Mental Health Practitioner - Lead Practitioner - Intake & Assessment worker for a full time, fixed term 5 month opportunity with a possibility of an extension in the Greensborough area. You will act as a first contact point for young people accessing the Headspace Centre and build positive, supportive relationships with young people, families and friends.
