We provide practical and motivational support that helps people to develop the skills they need to move on, thrive and improve the quality of their lives. It’s an approach to mental health and wellbeing that looks at the whole person in the context of their daily life. Mind is committed to diversity and social inclusion.
The National Psycho Social Program (NPSP) is a program delivered by Mind as part of a consortium with Neami National, Life Without Barriers, Mind Australia, Mission Australia and Skylight Mental Health. NPSP supports individuals with mental health issues within a recovery framework that’s focused on strengths and capabilities, including identifying and maintaining a lifestyle that has meaning and value, enabling active participation in community life, and a reduction in social isolation as well as enhancing independent living skills and support networks.
