Mind operates Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Short-Term Accommodation services for people with severe and enduring psychosocial disability. As part of the SIL service, the Youth Residential Rehabilitation Support (YRRS) program assists young people aged between 16 and 24 years who are experiencing mental ill-health. A team of Community Mental Health Practitioners provide a 12-month rehabilitation program that uses a strengths focused, recovery oriented approach to support recovery.
We have an opportunity for an experienced, motivated fixed term 12 month, part time (30 hours per week) Community Mental Health Practitioner – Peer Practitioner to work on a 24/7 rotating roster in the Rosanna area. You will utilise your lived experience of mental ill health to engage with clients by providing empathetic and positive support.
