Mind operates Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Short-Term Accommodation services for people with severe and enduring psychosocial disability. As part of the SIL service, the Youth Residential Rehabilitation Support (YRRS) program assists young people aged between 16 and 24 years who are experiencing mental ill-health. A team of Community Mental Health Practitioners provide a 12-month rehabilitation program that uses a strengths focused, recovery-oriented approach to support recovery.
We are seeking a dynamic, experienced Community Mental Health Practitioner for a 12 month fixed term, part time (34 hours per week) opportunity to work on a 24/7 rotating roster in the Traralgon area. You will support our young people to achieve their recovery goals through one-to-one support, facilitating peer learning workshops and assistance with daily tasks.
