Mind operate Supported Independent Living (SIL) and Short-Term Accommodation services for people with severe and enduring psychosocial disability, these residences are staffed 24/7 and funded through residents’ NDIS packages. Guided by Mind’s model of Recovery Oriented Practice and the Dual Disability Framework, services operate in collaboration with the local community with the focus on supporting people to achieve their life goals.
We are seeking resilient, self-motivated Community Support Workers for permanent, part time (15 hours per week) and casual opportunities to join a passionate team working on a 24/7 rotating roster in the Toowoomba area. You will be supporting clients to recover from mental health challenges and delivering person-centred services to clients, families and carers by developing life skills in a residential setting.
