The Rockingham Sub-Acute Short Stay service is residential service delivered in partnership with Southern Metropolitan Health Service and Access Housing. The service offers short term, recovery-focused residential care for people who are either leaving acute mental health care or who would benefit from 24 hour support to avoid hospital admission. The focus is on recovery, promoting self-education and linkages to the community to support individuals and their families heal from the effects that mental health issues can have on people’s lives.
We are seeking an experienced, compassionate Family Engagement Worker/ Lead Practitioner for a 5 month fixed term, part time (26 hours per week) opportunity to work in the Rockingham area. You will lead and mentor the team to deliver holistic, person-centred services to support an individual’s recovery from mental health challenges in line with Mind’s Model of Recovery Oriented Practice.
