headspace in partnership with Mind aims to promote and facilitate improvements in the mental health, social wellbeing and economic participation of young people aged 12-25 years residing the Northern Region of Melbourne. Services in this youth friendly space are delivered across four core streams - physical and sexual health, mental health, alcohol and other drugs (AOD), and educational and vocational services to improve access for young people to mental health programs as well as ensuring better co-ordination between service providers
We are seeking compassionate Peer Practitioner for permanent part time opportunity (30.4 hours per week) in the Box Hill area. You will utilise your lived experience of mental ill health and recovery to provide services to young people, families, friends and carers. In this role you will be the champion of co-design and co-production in all aspects of the service, work with young people to define their own outcomes and deliver personalised support services and recovery-oriented care to young people living with mental ill health in the community.
