About the role

Mind offers a targeted range of supports and services that aim to maximise recovery outcomes for customers and operate in the context of local community, the focus of the services is to support people to achieve their better life goals which reflects Mind’s Model of Recovery. The Allied Health team provides specialist care to customers in Mind Centres for Mental Health & Wellbeing across Australia.

We have a 12 month fixed term, part time (23 hours per week) opportunity for a motivated Stakeholder Engagement Officer to focus on coordinating registration and setting up systems to enable service delivery of Residential Aged Care Facilities (RACF) across metropolitan Adelaide. You will utilise stakeholder engagement strategies to create and support partnership opportunities with RACF’s and work collaboratively with stakeholders to manage the provision of severe and episodic mental health services to aged care residents.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage stakeholders and build relationships with RACF’s to promote services available to aged care residents.
  • Coordinate, facilitate and implement an effective plan to register RACF’s and enable service provision.
  • Facilitate registration of RACF’s by working with the individual facilities to identify and implement credentialing requirements and connect facilities to clinicians.
  • Develop effective networks, cross-sector referral pathways and collaborative partnerships with a range of relevant external services.

What you’ll bring

  • Tertiary degree qualifications in Human Services or related field as designated by Mind.
  • Proven experience in Community Development and/or strategic engagement with external organisations and stakeholders.
  • Understanding of the Community Services, aged care and/or mental health.
  • Previous project management, B2B, and communications experience.
