An exciting opportunity exists for an enthusiastic and experienced allied health assistant to work at Moi Clinic within a multidisciplinary allied health team, providing support across all disciplines, however the role is highly focused on supporting Occupational therapy clients and assisting in group programs.

Tasks include, providing client education and therapeutic support, assisting carers and families of the client, group facilitation and support, assistance with funding applications and administrative duties.

The target population includes children and adolescents with multiple and complex needs and those from culturally and linguistically diverse backgrounds. A high focus of our work is on children and adolescents who are utilising an NDIS plan.

You will possess or are working towards:

  • A professional qualification - Certificate IV in Allied Health Assisting from an accredited Registered Training Organisation/RTO or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience working as an allied Health Assistant or in a related area including supervising exercise groups or children’s groups.
  • Working towards competing studies in Occupational Therapy, Speech Therapy or Psychology
  • Current working with children's check
  • Police check required when you begin your role
