About The Role

We are excited to announce a second Aboriginal traineeship for candidates commencing or continuing a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Mental Health) at Charles Sturt University. The traineeship will ensure the candidate can attend all their course requirements and support the completion of academic tasks. At the same time, the trainee will be given opportunity to work in different parts of the Mental Health Program to gain experience with children, youth and families, adult and aged consumers and those with drug and alcohol difficulties requiring mental health care. Rotations across the mental health program will be set with the trainee taking into account the trainee's learning needs, interests and goals and the available cultural and supervisory support.

This is a full-time role for three years while the trainee completes their undergraduate training. Course costs are paid for by Monash Health and supervision provided to the trainee by Monash Health under this program.
